The Evolution of Portable music has come so far from what it used to be. It started off as cassette players, using tapes back in the 70’s to Portable CD players in the 90’s and finally to the IPod/MP3 players we have today. This advance in the way we listen to our music is a great achievement. Instead of having a bulk Walkman or CD player on your hip, you can easily slide your IPod into your pocket. This new technology has had a major impact on our society for how convenient it is to be able to upload music files on to an IPod and listen to a large amount of music due to its gigabytes. The only negative about the IPod I think is that if it doesn’t automatically dock to your car and you have to manually play and find the music then accidents may happen on the road, but you hear more about cell phone texting accidents then IPod’s.
